Recall our recent notice on developments at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, the advertised venue for the 26th Annual Tax Conference scheduled to hold from 13th - 17th May, 2024. It has now been confirmed that the FCT Authorities have closed down the International Conference Centre for immediate repair works to address its deteriorating facilities and the contractors have been mobilised to site. Arising from this development, the Institute wishes to notify its members and stakeholders that the Institute has secured alternative venues for the various activities outlined in the course of the conference as follows: Abuja Chamber of Commerce, International Trade and Convention Centre, located at Km. 8, Yar’adua Expressway (Airport Road) Abuja, FCT.
This venue would host the following events:
a. Registration and Hospitality Nite on Monday, 13th May, 2024.
b. Plenary Session on Tuesday, 14th and Wednesday, 15th May, 2024
c. Gala Nite on Thursday, 16th May 2024.
The Theme and other sub-themes for the conference have been carefully chosen to reflect the current economic realities in the tax space while Guest Speakers and Panellists of great repute have been assembled to make the sessions impactful.
